I am a disability "analyst" which is what we are called in New York State, but in some states they are called examiners. Work for a state agency which does SSI and SSD claims for the
Federal Social Security Program.
I miss being a nurse...and my dream of being what you are, a midwife. But, they pay us well here, good vacation and benefits...and I still have two kids in college.
