I had this about 10 years ago. Fortunately, it was duing the 6 weeks I spent in Oklahoma as a midwifery student, so my husband and kids were spared the worst of how bad I looked.

One of my friends woke with this when I was a kid and it was a frightening thing. Hers _never_ resolved completely. I have also had two women, through the years, in my childbirth classes, who were afflicted with Bell's Palsy, with varying degrees of relief of the palsy.
