It's times like this that I really miss having my own computer with one-click blogrolling and one-click blogging installed. I consider it rude to install such comfort measures on another's personal computer.

Alicia, if you were using my computer, I'd prefer that you put that stuff onto it....not rude at all. Maybe just ask the person whose computer you are borrowing. They may not care a whit and POOF, your life is easier.
Have you tried Bloglines? You can use it to keep up with blogs, and (I would assume) other websites as well, and you can log onto the service, which is web-based, from any computer. It's great.
Elizabeth, it isn't reading that's an issue, it's writing.
Sandy - I'm using 2 work computers (one in the office and one in the hospital) and only after hours. I am not authorized to add any software to either of them. I'm also using my husband's computer, and it has so much stuff on it already that I am reluctant to add more. Also, he occasionally blogs and I don't want to confuse things.
I recommend BlogLines.com -- especially as a good portion of 'St. Blog's Parish' have RSS or Atom XML feeds now, it's a great way to stay in touch . . . I use it all the time. =)
