Quite a morning, eh? When I woke up I expected more snow. Instead I quickly blew off about 3 inches. My wife says most of the stuff falling now is melting as soon as it hits the driveway. Meanwhile she is going for sainthood by having three additional neighborhood kids over to play with our own five kids. 8 kids in the house, all under 10. Whew!

Suddenly proofreading a technical guide doesn't seem so bad... ;-)

Oh, Alicia, you are providing just way too much fodder for my blog these days! LOL! We decided to take the day off from homeschooling today (actually, we've been doing that a lot...er...we ARE relaxed homeschoolers!). It is amazingly quiet as I allow the kids to play Gamecube all day. Well, not QUIET, quiet...I'm listening to Beethoven after all. But nobody is squabbling. Amazing. The light snow here is the topper to this lazy feeling.

I decided not to count states I've only been through on the train or in the car. Weird that I grew up in NYC but have never really been to Connecticut. We took Amtrak to Chicago from NYC once. But I did count Colorado where I've only stopped at an airport. And I counted myself as having lived in Maryland where I went to college for a while and rented a room, but never was a legal resident.

Oops. Maryland and New York didn't get underlined anyway.

Alicia, I'm an hour train ride from London, so if your "baby" needs anything, let me know. This would only be likely in an emergency and Murphy's Law dictates that if you have this base covered, all will be ok. She can call on me, anyway, if'n she wants.

I made one mistake on this state thing...I've never been to or lived in Texas, but the page wouldn't let me leave it blank after I'd clicked something. Some of these states I've merely driven through. I didn't know I'd hit so many!
