Wow! Geeky. I remember the question of symptom tracking software would come up now and then in CCL's Family Foundations newsletter. Making it a PDA app is perfect -- portable, boots instantly, and ... ahem ... backlighting.
Still, the luddite side of me considers it overkill compared to a cheap book of tracking charts. Imagine if you were negligent about backups and suddenly lost battery power. Yikes!
