The thing that really bothers me is that they bottle fed this baby!!!!

Yeah, it seems bizarre that after all that they went to the trouble of improvising a bottle instead of just breastfeeding him.

The bottle was an unfortunate bit of artful improvisation.
(almost like the Professor's contraptions on Gilligan's Island)
