Perhaps the author of the essay that you linked should amend her article. The Roman Catholic Church may support motherhood as a vocation, but it has been my bitter experience that many Protestant denominations do not. Oh, they give lip service to the concept, but in practice they are as secular as the surrounding society when it comes to motherhood vs a paid career.
