Anti-Catholic American Girls
My daughters had a few of the American Girls dolls and books, but not many, mostly because of the cost. I also became concerned after the first few years that the series seemed to be developing an agenda that was borderline on politically correct.
However, this one takes the cake!

Elsa has three American Girl dolls-- she got her first one when she was 4. (Yes, I spoil her.) She adores the dolls, but she's went off the books. There are SO many series out there right now about girls from historical time periods and different countries that she has no end of choices. And she's the first one to come to me complaining of anti-Catholic bias, so I'm not worried. Probably, if she gets ahold of that one, SHE will be the one writing nasty letters to the publisher!!!
